Privacy Policy
Last updated: 19 October 2026
Onepost ("we", "us"), operated by Onepost, lets creators upload a video once and post it to their own TikTok, Instagram and YouTube accounts. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Your Onepost account: email address, the name you give us, and a securely hashed password.
- Accounts you connect: when you connect TikTok, Instagram or YouTube, we receive your account or channel ID, username, display name and profile picture, plus access tokens that let us post on your behalf. Tokens are stored encrypted.
- Content you post: the videos you upload, and the captions, titles and settings you choose for each platform.
- Post history: where each post went, whether it succeeded, and links to the published posts.
- Stats (Pro): if you're on Pro, we read the numbers of the accounts you connect (followers, and the views, likes, comments, shares and saves of your recent posts, with their titles, links and thumbnails) to show them to you on your Stats page. We keep only the latest copy, refresh it every so often, and delete it when you disconnect the account.
- Billing (Pro): payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details; we keep your Stripe customer and subscription IDs and your plan's status.
- Technical data: IP address and basic request logs, used to keep the service secure (for example, to block repeated failed sign-ins).
How we use it
We use your information only to run Onepost: to sign you in, to show you your connected accounts, to publish your content to the accounts you choose, when you choose, and, on Pro, to show you your stats and bill your subscription. We only post when you press Post. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or use your content to train AI models.
Who we share it with
- The platforms you post to. When you post, we send your video and the details you entered to TikTok, Instagram (Meta) or YouTube (Google). Their own privacy policies then apply.
- Stripe, which processes Pro payments. Stripe's privacy policy applies to the payment details you give it.
- Service providers that host and run Onepost for us, under contracts that require them to protect your data.
- Legal reasons: if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of our users or the service.
YouTube
Onepost uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a YouTube channel you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of your data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy. You can remove Onepost's access to your Google account at any time on the Google security settings page.
Onepost's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How long we keep it
- Uploaded videos are deleted from our servers within a few days of posting finishing.
- Connected account details and tokens are deleted as soon as you disconnect the account.
- Everything else is kept until you delete your Onepost account.
Your choices
- Disconnect any TikTok, Instagram or YouTube account on the Accounts page.
- Delete your whole account, including all data we hold about you, under Settings. See how to delete your data.
- Remove our access from the platform itself: in TikTok, Instagram (Settings > Apps and websites) or your Google account permissions.
- Ask us for a copy of your data, or to correct or delete it, by emailing support@example.com.
Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), store platform tokens encrypted, and hash passwords. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Children
Onepost is not meant for children under 13, or the minimum age to use the connected platforms where you live if that is higher.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above, and tell you in the app or by email if the changes are significant.
